In 2007, she graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, with an emphasis in public relations. While in college, Tracy was heavily involved in PR on and off campus. She supervised the school’s student-run firm, Allen Hall Public Relations, and helped manage media relations for the University of Oregon Athletic Department.
An active member on the executive board for the Public Relations Student Society of America, Tracy received the Liz Cawood Award for Community Service by the local parent organization, the Public Relations Society of America - Portland Metro Chapter, in 2007.
